About the Image Resizer

The Freemium.Tools image resizer changes an image to an exact pixel size, or to a ready-made social media size, entirely inside your browser with no upload and no watermark.

Platforms are strict about dimensions: a LinkedIn banner, an Instagram story and an Open Graph share image all need different pixel sizes, and the wrong size gets cropped badly or rendered blurry.

Pick a preset or type your own width and height, decide whether to fill the frame or fit inside it with padding, and resize a whole folder of images in one pass. Everything runs on your device, so nothing is uploaded.

How to use it

  1. 1Choose a size. Pick a preset such as 1200x630 for social sharing, or type your own width and height.
  2. 2Decide how to fit. Keep the original proportions, fill the frame and crop the edges, or fit inside with a padding colour.
  3. 3Add your images. Drop in one or many images; the same settings apply to the whole batch.
  4. 4Download. Save each image, or download the batch as a ZIP.

Frequently asked questions

Will resizing make my image blurry?

Making an image smaller keeps it sharp. Enlarging beyond the original pixel size always softens detail, because the extra pixels have to be invented, so start from the largest copy you have.

What size should a social share image be?

1200x630 pixels is the safe Open Graph size used by Facebook, LinkedIn and most link previews. Instagram square is 1080x1080 and stories are 1080x1920.

Can I resize many images at once?

Yes. Drop in a batch and every image is resized with the same settings, then you can download them together as a ZIP.

Are my images uploaded to a server?

No. Resizing uses your browser's Canvas API, so the image data never leaves your device.
