About the Image Watermark

The Freemium.Tools watermark tool stamps your own text across one image or a whole batch, with control over position, size, colour, angle and opacity, all in your browser.

A watermark discourages casual reuse and keeps your name attached to work that gets reshared. A tiled, semi-transparent mark is much harder to crop out than a single corner logo.

Set the text once and apply it to every image you drop in. Files are processed locally and exported as PNG, so quality is preserved and nothing is uploaded.

How to use it

  1. 1Type your watermark. Enter the text you want stamped, such as your name or a copyright line.
  2. 2Style it. Choose a corner, the centre, or a tiled layout, then set size, colour, angle and opacity.
  3. 3Add images. Drop in one image or a whole batch.
  4. 4Download. Save each watermarked image or download them all as a ZIP.

Frequently asked questions

What opacity should a watermark use?

Around 30-50% is the usual balance: clearly visible as a claim of ownership without ruining the picture. Use a tiled layout at lower opacity for stronger protection.

Can someone remove my watermark?

A single corner mark can be cropped off easily. A tiled, angled watermark across the whole frame is much harder to remove without visibly damaging the image.

Can I use an image or logo as the watermark?

Not yet — the tool stamps text only. You can approximate a logo by using a distinctive character or your brand name.

Are my photos uploaded?

No. Watermarking is drawn onto a canvas inside your browser and the originals never leave your device.
